Unless your partner is earning A LOT of money, the chances are that things are probably a bit financially tight for you right now. I get it.
It’s a very difficult decision to make between being a stay at home mom and going out to work. For me personally, I really felt that I wanted to be there for my children and not have to walk into an office doing a job that I hated 5 days out of the week.
Don’t get me wrong. If you are a working mom that is fine too, I’m just saying it didn’t work for me.

In all honesty, as I sat in front of my computer searching for the best jobs for stay at home moms, blogging came up so many times but I was really skeptical of it.
Surely blogging has to be a scam otherwise everyone would be doing it, right?
How do you make money with a blog? Do I have to pay out lots of money before I can start? These are all questions that I had to ask.
The more I dug into it I more I realized that it was possible to make an income blogging.
I read about women making $10,000+ a month and I couldn’t believe it. I decided to give it a try myself.
Hey, I was desperate so why not?!
I’m still fairly new to the blogging game as it has been just over 2 years since I started but I am already making a good salary per month.
The great thing about blogging is that it’s so easy to start up. The setup costs are fairly minimal which is a huge bonus.
If you truly want blogging to work for you, then you need to treat it as your business from the very beginning.

#4 Buying And Selling on eBay
Buying and selling on eBay is another way to make some income. I actually did this for some time whilst I was pregnant with baby number 3 and it definitely brought me in some money.
I used to buy second hand buggies and purchase all the accessories to go with the buggy if it didn’t have it. Then I would clean up the buggy and sell the whole thing back on eBay as a full package.
It was a good little earner for me at the time but I soon realized buying and selling buggies wasn’t that great as I was beginning to run out of storage space very quickly! You literally couldn’t turn a corner without seeing a buggy.
You don’t have to sell buggies on eBay you can literally buy and sell anything that takes your fancy. You only have to open up eBay to see the massive selection of things to buy and sell available to you.

#7 Esty Shop
If you are any good with designing printables or making things by hand then Esty is a really good option for you.
People make thousands from their online shops each month and so can you.
The great thing about an Esty shop is that once you have a few items for sale especially if they are digital products it can become very much passive income.
Meaning that you won’t have to do too much to keep the numbers rolling in.
It’s worth a thought.
#8 Virtual Assistant
Over the last few years, VA’s are becoming a real need for a lot of businesses. Businesses no longer need full-time members of staff in the office every day but rather a person they can hire for a set period of time to complete certain tasks.
Virtual assistant jobs are the best because you can work from home as a stay at home mom. If the company likes your work they are known to hire you time and time again.
You can choose if you want to take the job or not. How awesome is that!

Final Thoughts On The Best Jobs For Stay At Home Moms
Being a stay at home mom means being able to be there when your child is sick or needs a hug. If you can start a good business as a SAHM it just makes everything so much easier.
You no longer have to feel guilty about money.
One thing that I have learned along the way is that you have to work hard in order to make it happen. Opportunity won’t just fall into your lap you have to work for it.
In some of these jobs, the work is front-loaded meaning that you will feel like you are working or studying for nothing but eventually, it does pay off.
I’ve been blogging for over 2 years but it took a good few months, lots of hard work and late nights before I saw any real money.
Now the money I make is almost passive…almost!
Was it worth it?
You bet it was! As a stay at home mom, I needed something that works around my family, not something I have to bend over backward for.
If I can do it, so can you.
Be brave and work hard and you will get there.
