Fresh fruits and vegetables can go bad pretty fast so I like to just scoop all my purees into an ice cube tray and freeze them. Then the day before you want to serve it, pop it out and put in a bowl in the fridge to thaw.

Blueberry Baby Puree
Ingredients:
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1/8 cup water
Directions:
- If using fresh blueberries clean the blueberries. If using frozen, thawed completely before putting in the blender.
- Add 1/8 cup of water
- Blend until desire texture.
NOTE: You can use frozen or fresh blueberries. If using frozen, thawed them before putting in the blender. Also, frozen blueberries contain more water, you may have to adjust water. I usually starts with 1 tablespoon and go from there.

Banana Baby Puree
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (1 medium size one) sliced bananas
Directions:
- Peeled a medium size banana and sliced them
- Add to blender for a nice silky puree or with a fork mashed them. (The fork technic might have bigger pieces.)

Pears Baby Puree
Ingredients:
- 1 cup peeled and cubed pear
- 1/8 cup water
Directions:
- Peeled and cubed a pear. Should give you about 1 cup.
- Add 1/8 cup water
- Blend until desire texture
NOTE: If the pears are not ripped enough, I will usually steam them for 5 minutes then put them in the mixer.

Avocado Baby Puree
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (medium size) avocado, peeled and diced
Directions:
- Slice an avocado in half. Take the pit off and peeled the avocado.
- Cut the avocado and put in blender.
- Blend until desire consistency.

Zucchini Baby Puree
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (1 medium size) peeled and cubed zucchini
Directions:
- Peeled and dice a zucchini
- In a saucepan, add some water and steam the zucchini until tender (5 minutes). For steaming I like to use OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Steamer
- Once the zucchini is tender, blend them until desire texture. No need to add water.

Peas Baby Puree
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/8 cup water
Directions:
- In a saucepan or your favorite way, steam the frozen peas for 5 minutes or until soften up.
- Add the peas to blender or for this one I prefer using an immersion blender. Makes for a smoother mixture

Green Beans Baby Puree
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen green beans
- ¼ cup water
Directions:
- Steam frozen green beans for 5 minutes or until tender.
- Add the soften beans to the blender with 1/8 to ¼ cup water. The amount of water varies according to what texture you want.
BAKER’S NOTES:
- INGREDIENTS SUBSTITUTION
- Sometimes finding all fruits and veggies fresh can be a challenge. I will go in the frozen section of the grocery store and look for frozen fruits or veggies without any salt added to it.
- CHEF’S TOOLS
- When blending I either use my blender (Ninja) or an immersion blender (Kitchen Aid)
